March, 2010 Fishing Report -

Monday, March 22nd

We finally got a break in the weather with 70's the past few days, it's felt great! Stripers are being caught around the mouth of the Mullica River and bottom fishing should be getting started. Will be fishing this coming weekend or by Easter weekend at the latest. Looking forward to posting a report.

Mother Nature continues with her relentless assault on the Mid-Atlantic this winter. Another nor'easter brought torrential rain and high winds to New Jersey and Long Island, and the storm will continue to affect points North. Rainfall amounts were up to 6" in places with winds near 80 mph. Moderate to severe flooding occurred in many locales from both tides and rain, and significant wind damage occurred with numerous fallen trees and damaged roofs.

On a brighter note, Spring begins on Saturday! Good riddance to the winter of 2009-10!
